David Farrier today tells us of how Brian Houston, the rich pastor of Hillsong fundamentalist church, tweeted “Ladies and girls kissing” to his 10,000 followers this week. It seems he thought he was doing a google search, this fine upstanding Christian man who demonises gay people for their sin.
He then quickly deleted the tweet (but of course not before screen capture and replies) and 16 minutes later let everyone know ‘I seem to have been hacked’.
You couldn’t make this shit up.
@biddy_sue how does someone send a tweet instead of do a google search? The interfaces are completely different.
I struggle to believe that someone could be so stupid as to get the two confused.
@SimonCHulse @biddy_sue the original article says he was probably trying to do a twitter search. Very amusing also because he could just have continued the thread with: "... is a sin" and explain that he hit send too early. He was probably drunk 🤣
