Does anyone have self-hosted open-source photo gallery software they like? I am trying to load all of ImageNet (~14M images) for viewing.

PhotoPrism is okay, but it tries to run some kind of inference on each image, so it's slow and it maintains a large cache.

@alex The 'awesome-selfhosted' repo has a sublist for photo gallery software: github.com/awesome-selfhosted/ Among the options there, PhotoView seems like a potential candidate.

I think with 14M images, a lot of these out-of-the-box solutions may still struggle given general system constraints.

@kcole @alex that claims Memories is "advanced" when it lacks core features like nested albums. Not sure of it's providence

@falken @alex

Yes, it’s a community-sourced list which operates through user-submitted pull requests, which are searchable via GitHub. I’m sure there’s a lot of room for subjectivity in these lists :)
