@neil I miss it too.
I still have Google pay, it's just so painful to use now I don't bother except in an emergency. I just use my cards now.
@digitalstefan @neil it used to be like that. There's now just a bit more friction added that makes it easier to use a card instead.
So it used to be that you just tapped your phone to pay. If your phone was unlocked then you had to unlock it. You could unlock it in advance, then it was just tap to pay.
Now however you have to verify when you tap, even if your phone is already unlocked.
