Just upgraded ubuntu on my work computer, my touchpad still doesn't work, and it appears to have deleted everything from thunderbird!! Crap. So... apologies if you need an email from me anytime soon.
@sundogplanets Can't speak to the touchpad issue, but the Thunderbird thing is bizarre — all of your mail and config is stored in your home directory, which it shouldn't touch! Maybe it caused a new profile to be created for some reason?

@me @sundogplanets Thunderbird moved to a Snap at some point. It's likely the old profile folder is still there and just needs copying.
