Marks & Spencer website is down. Not a cyber attack this time, but apparently Azure having DNS problems means they have switched off the whole M&S website.

Why is a UK company 100% dependent on a US cloud provider with no fallback plan (e.g. serve a static site with at least a working store finder using Google Maps or something)?

@pwaring I'm assuming they're dependent on the UK region of Azure; how Azure managed to take out multiple regions is impressive!
