Giving Lutris a go as a way of installing GOG games under Linux (I only have one Windows laptop and it is starting to slow down and constantly nag me to join Microsoft services, update to Windows 11 etc. by programmers who don't understand consent).

Looks really nice but has crashed on Alpha Centauri which is normally well-supported under Wine / Proton.
