Here’s a recent experience: tried caracoles (snails) I think for the first time. This was in Córdoba, in Andalucía. They taste like what the sauce tastes like

We have a version in the Philippines called “ginataang kuhol” (snails in coconut milk). I’ve only eaten the black twisty variety. Like with caracoles, you also need a toothpick to pull the meat out
