ever cat a file to see what it is but it’s binary data and your laptop then rapid fire beeps and your terminal does weird shit

For some reason I've been using "less" to view files more often, recently, and that has been warning me. So deres dat.
@finity yaknow less would probably be WAY better to use than cat for this purpose, I should probably get into that habit
