Good morning from La Vigne #bugey #france. The old vineyard #drystonewall looking good. Planted local #iris Germanica at base. Dark purple. The old #holloway beside the wall never gets overgrown as the tracks are deeply rutted. #medieval

@fletchpj it originally went from the hamlet above to the commune below. About 4 km. But only maybe half a km left. It’s amazing that nothing grows there.

@harphat Odd that the wall doesn’t have any ferns; seems like a good spot for them. I envy you having one right on your doorstep, even if it is reduced in length.
