Merry Christmas everybody.
I always find Christmas Eve a day of reflection. There is no particular reason for this - I suppose the quietness of the house, whilst the kids sleep, lulls the mind into a reflective state. If you do get a quiet moment over the coming days and the weather is not welcome you outside; I recommend to capture your own worldview in a single sketch. This is by no means an easy task; it is compelling and also rewarding. Here is my own attempt. #christmaseve #christmas
Took my kids sledging this past weekend on the mountain behind our village and whilst i gave them some warm rooibos - i noticed this seemingly fractal shape on a tree wrap. I suspect its from frozen water when it was stored, but could be wrong. I am fascinated about fractals though;
My daughter reminded of the “Let it go” song from @Disney@mastodon.social :)
“Frozen fractals all around…” Elsa, Frozen
Which is quite true.
