@freemo brings back bad memories of college calculus- 8am lectures, professors whose accents I couldn't understand, and these symbols that I have stopped using since ;)

@Gongzero I think there are two types of people: Those who are good at math and get excited by these symbols, those who arent very good at math and get scared when they see those symbols, and people who dont know what the hell it is :)

@freemo thank goodness I don't do hard core math, just math with lots of margins of error known as engineering :D

@freemo corrected thanks haha-well - plans still need to match quantity estimates ;) hence simple math

Saw a documentary a few months ago on PBS on an unknown professor solving the Twin Prime Conjecture- fascinating!

@Gongzero Yea its always amazing when a non-math guy solves something that has been stumping math guys for a while.

@freemo well due to circumstances he was not known but had the academic rigors and had a teaching position- just at a lower ranked university. Epilogue- he was finally poached to teach/research at UC Santa Barbara
