Maybe I'm forgetting something, I don't knowโ€ฆ
@freemo
I don't even see your post on the instance you're on that is strange. But from loadaverage I have access to your link, I don't have the preview but I have the link. https://loadaverage.org/attachment/4423690

@mangeurdenuage Where is the source for your instance hosted? Do you know if your working off a modified version of the server maybe?

@freemo
From what I read it's gnu social 1.2.0-beta5 if they are inclined to do so you should seek help with @pztrn @maiyannah and @xrevan
https://gnu.io/social/
https://git.gnu.io/gnu/gnu-social/
Here's some documentation (I don't know how up to date it is)

No problem, Mastodon is one of many softwares that is part of the fediverse.
When I came by two years ago I there was only GS but there's older software than GS. Mastodon came about one year ago.

@mangeurdenuage I am aware, I just didnt think about it at the time. Though I could swear mastodon is older than that, I thought i remember seeing it more than a year ago.

Maybe a year and a few ~ months. GS is a fusion of multiple projects over time it's a decade old.

@mangeurdenuage Well regardless I have no doubt GS is older. With that said I'd love to see a matrix of features that compare the various ActivityPub compliant software. I am running Mastodon for my instance purely because I liked the expiernce the most.

@mangeurdenuage @lain I'm familiar with that as well. I tried out both before deciding to run Mastodon as my instance.
