So I setup a koken instance and am in the process of setting up a MediaGoblin instance now. Anyone out there use either of these and have any opinions? Or even opinions as to other media sharing services.
@LWFlouisa the repo has recent commits and appears active. Last commit was a few days ago.
@freemo That's reassuring, was wanting to learn how to run my own instance.
Finding a server to run it on might be hell though. The only reason I can host pages now, is I can enough technical ability to learn how to use IPFS.
@freemo But money wise I have none for an external server.
@LWFlouisa I may make my server public for anyone on qoto.org to use. If I do then you'd be welcome to use it.

@freemo I guess I didn't mention that. I'm wanting to learn both French and Dutch.

@freemo But for example, in order to make my Yacy instance public once, I did a local server of it following the instructions, then put that in an iframe for a Dat page. Though I'm thinking of switching to IPFS instead.
@freemo I love mediagoblin, though recently the develop told me he was on hiatus maintaining it and working on spritely.
