The actor has a point that no one tell him what not to do and not to post because it's his own account. If they have issues, block him or whatever because he didn't ask them to read his posts.

I agree. The federated timeline is unmoderated. No one individual, or group, or instance, has any say on what is shown there. N-S-F-W are fine to filter but him being told how he should do his business when he was only posting his opinions and sharing links, is too much, way too much. Is the federation owned by some powers-that-be? Then we did not leave behind the system we left in the first place.

People say, in the fediverse there is freedom. But political opinions and links are not allowed and _must_ be filtered. I say, let him be. If one has issues or is easily offended or reads every single post that shows up in the federated timeline, then block his accounts. How hard can that be?
