Ha-wow, I suspect that I just got super close to having a mental breakdown. I suspect that in the crunch time to finish an assignment, my mind pulled its relevant sub-network together very tightly. After submitting the assignment, I got in the car with my Dad to get to school (he drops me off partway), and soon enough he starts talking with me about matters unrelated to the assignment. In attempting to listen to him, I start shaking. >_< I told him that I can't talk right now, and I'm better now

@bthall Oh man thats rough. It almost sounds like a panic attack, and I know how scary that can be.

If talking helps, im always happy to listen. You got this dude!

@freemo @bgcarlisle Thanks, guys. I'm feeling a bit better, but I'll need to give a presentation about the assignment shortly, so my calming-down time is constrained.

I'll likely go get a beer afterwards, and sadly not before. + I'll get to do some fun (truly) BizEthics readings, so :)

Is this soething you've dealt with in the past. Just so you know there are some really effective medications to help with panic attacks if it becomes crippling. Though to be fair if the occasional beer helps that may be a little better.

@bgcarlisle

@freemo No, I haven't had this, or at least to a significantly perceiveable degree. I have an anxiety disorder, though, with panic attacks, and this felt different than my usual panicking. 😅

@bthall
Ahh I see. Well lets hope it was a one time thing. Sounds like your under a lot of stress, understandably so.
