@lastfuture I'm a bit of a calculator addict, I need one!!!
@freemo I've only got mine today but I've been in love with it since I tried the simulator on their site
@lastfuture They won me over the second i saw it uses python. My issue with all calculators ive tried is that they fail to do sane simplification. I always keep coming back to matlab/maple even though i prefer to do math on paper w/ a calculator.
@freemo looks like the NumWorks does simplification well, but I'm not a math buff. I bought it to get back into maths as a coder who almost never needs anything more complex than division day to day
@lastfuture simplification only tends to fail when you get into the more advanced stuff like first-order differentials
@freemo best if you try it in the "Calculations" App https://www.numworks.com/simulator/
@lastfuture No need i already bought it. I'll play wen I get it :) Thanks for pointing me to it
@lastfuture They need to make one with a qwerty keyboard... I wonder if you can hook one up.
@freemo you can write scripts in your browser and transfer them via USB bit it also has a lot of shortcuts for common things and all the function names
@lastfuture I just bought one, thanks for the tip!
