I'm sure this isn't the first time you've run into someone who conflates sex and gender. Blame pop culture for using it in the same context as sex for years, not him. You will convince noone by being hostile.

What do you feel was abusive about my comments? He expressed to me he uses male as her gender, so I agreed. Didnt seem much more to say, not sure that counts as being curt. If there is more he wuld like me to elaborate on the topic I'd be happy to.

I am neither hostile nor trying to convince anyone of anything. They told me the gender they expect, and I use it, nothing more.
