An attempt at my friend's name. This time using pilot parallel pens.
I strictly followed the Gothic Blackletter script called "Textura" which was used historically in England, I believe around the 1500s, as a text in many handwritten books of the era.

@igeljaeger That was really cool. I tried brush calligraphy for a day once. Its soooooo hard to get things looking perfect. While im not into eastern european as a style for myself i do love seeing the results and respect the skill that sort of control over a brush requires.
@freemo dont you mean east asian? 
@igeljaeger I meant eastern without the word "european in there".. basically asia and a little beyond. Pretty much the region where brush calligraphy is the standard.
