@pschwede Well yea so the issue then isnt the studies, or the published statistics, just the conclusions we sometimes draw from them. In that case I 100% agree.
I think a better example than the bon bon for me is black crime rates in america. They are legitimately higher than other races, the statistics are real and they dont lie in that regard. The issue is some people wrongly assume that means blacks are more violent (they use it to support their racism).. this is of course a wrong conclusion. There are many reasons for this number ranging from them being targeted more by police to them simply living in poverty and thus the cause is poverty not race.
I usually cite that as a pretty good example most people can easily agree with.
