@animeirl If you watch the video first he empties the guys wallet onto the street. You clearly see the wallet, phone, and cocain in the shot ont he street 30 seconds earlier. Then you see him pick up the cocain and the wallet and motion towards the wallet. Thats about it.

The question is if he planted the cocain as you suggest then why was it already on the ground next to his wallet when the recording started?

@freemo @animeirl I'm not sure Vox has earned the benefit of the doubt for their reporting, but appearances can be deceiving.

@freemo @orbatos i did watch it. from the video the only thing that was dropped was the cocaine baggy, not the entire contents of his wallet. looks like the officer dropped it before putting it in his wallet either by accident or to try to hide it from other body cameras

@freemo @orbatos they also lied about where it was found in the police report which makes the whole thing even more suspect

@animeirl @orbatos No the police report said it was in the pocket not in the wallet. Based on how it fell out that makes sense

@freemo @orbatos the officer placed it in his wallet started the camera and then told multiple other officers it was in his wallet. Even if it wasn't planted, he still tampered with evidence and misinformed his colleagues. Not nearly as bad as framing someone but still a fuck up.

@animeirl @orbatos It looks like there were three things on the ground a phone, the wallet and a bag of cocain. Presumably the contents of his pocket. Why would they put cocain on the ground at all if it were planted?
