Interesting but I still don’t know what people referring to.. It would be a bit odd I guess, one of the three triangles that are fresh on my arm is for a girl that’s gay so why would I be harassing the gay community or gay people..

Well i figured you had some notes on why somewhere, in your head or otherwise.

Can you share with us what those "harassment campaigns" were or better yet just link to his offensive posts?

Harassment campaigns are a serious accusation and if true you. are completely in your right to. be upset. But i your going to make such a damaging claim please share with us those notes, or why, otherwise it just looks really bad to accuse someone of that then just fall silent when asked for what they did or why. What they did is obviously the most important part if you want people to be upset and support your campaign to block him wouldnt you say?

Sadly not. The account/instance I got it from are sadly not around or I otherwise can't find them. I don't even have access to those toots any more as the entire server was blown away months ago and recreated today, so it's only available as cached versions on other instances. I'm definitely keeping receipts going forward through for any blocks I broadcast.

Even if the posts are no longer present can you recall what they said that made them hate speech campaigns?

I've known this guy since he joined the fediverse. Never personally saw him be hateful. Not saying your wrong, but is it possible your mistaken? You said it was a sock puppet account, maybe it was someone else entirely? How do you even know it was him if it was a. separate account?

The reason im critical is because what you describe doesnt sound like him at all. Perhaps it was someone imitating him on a different server?

That could be.. On sinblr I have to ban ‘imitating’ admin accounts all the time but I’m not sure it’s the same thing?

In the case of sinblr it’s imitating admin accounts with a different user which look like my account and spamming links around through DM

An example is how most of his toots are about blocking instances because he's prejudiced against everyone who thinks slightly differently from him.

I should start doing this. Helps a lot with actually specifying who you're talking to. Not sure if you meant Michael instead of Chris, but nonetheless I would never block an instance unless it was actually shoving unbearable amounts of spam down my throat.
