Scaring off people we don't want here

There's a bunch of new people here recently, so I think I'll say a few things that will scare off many of the sorts of people that we don't want here

It is the official policy of scholar.social that:

🍍 Nazis should have their speech curtailed at every opportunity
🍍 Supporters of Jordan Peterson or Milo Yiannopoulos—leave now
🍍 There is no such thing as "reverse racism"
🍍 Vaccines don't cause autism, and for that matter, autistic people are equally valuable!

@socrates To be fair the instance is known for blocking and banning people who are otherwise LGBT or allies and the instance doesnt represent the ideals implied here; I wish it did.

In my expiernce the instance doesnt ban people based on what they say or do, but rather simply accusations is all it would take to get you kicked out, regardless of your views.

With that said while we arent any more tolerant of actual Nazi's here at qoto, if you want a space where you will be judged on how you actually treat people, if you want a place where being kind to others is the rule, not a popularity contest or your political leanings, then I hope you all feel welcomed at QOTO.

After hosting several LGBT+ driven out in tears by scholar.social this post obviously doesn't sit well with me and is very disingenuous of their own track record.
