Isnt that proof why we need affirmative action then?
The argument is usually that due to a historic pattern of racism minorities have less opportunity due to their poverty and often uneducated parents. Therefore we give them an advantage at acceptance into school to help offset that.
You are welcome to disagree with the policy in that regard, but this study doesnt tell us anything we didnt already know and expect, it is the very reason for affirmative action.
