@selea well there is a whole world of WM that may or may not suite you. There are varying degrees of minimalism which can be lovely, but also functional features, such as what you get with tiling WM that are really powerful and useful for productivity.

I do not really have a preference. Lately I have started to use Budgie - it is ok but not really what I want.
I have looked at bspwm also.
Currently runnig both #Trisquel and #Parabola actually.
