@kline I agree, I often comment how the PhD's tend to have some of the worst code I've ever seen in terms of architecture.
I'd say I probably have the best of both worlds, but I am obviously bias.
@freemo can't be that good else you'd not have the amount of time to shitpost on the fedi you seem to (haha jokes (haha only serious))
@freemo flip side: the Comp Sci researcher never actually gets releasable code out, can't even post working, repeatable code from their experiments, etc
