hot take on whites and racism
White people don't need to apologize for racism if they didn't do anything racist, and didn't facilitate or enable racism. Other people's racism is not their fault.

I've seen a fair amount of people attacked today on the grounds of being white, yea.
@freemo @realcaseyrollins Where? I never saw anybody demanding white people should apologize for racism of other whites. Did something happen today?
Many people seem to react that way. Earlier today I saw a user arguing pretty much exactly that.
@freemo @vnarek More specifically I'm seeing white people in their #Instagram stories apologizing for the racism found in society, even though they aren't racists.

@vnarek @kino @freemo I'm seeing people out there on #Instagram trying to shame people for not posting on social media and I think that's ridiculous. Not everyone is obligated to speak out against injustice. And a lot of people are posting foolishness.
It'd be better if they didn't say anything at all.
We had a lurker on qot (signed p in feb, never posted).. attacked some guy for his very nt racist comment, calling him racist and blaming it on his whiteness.
He then rage quit when a moderator told him he was being an ass and his account is now deleted.
