@admin leftist is a synonym for neo-liberal, and liberal is used as a shortened form of liberal, not to be confused with classically liberal which is a different term and not what is meant when the term "liberal" is used.
So it is correct based on common usage.

Indeed I did, I meant to say "liberal is a shortened form of neoliberal"
Hmm interesting, although on the internet it's complete different story but commanly most people do refer leftist as liberal.
