I couldn't figure out a electrical engineering problem i was trying to solve. So i came up with my own way of visualizing the math so i could try to find a solution by connecting dots. Turned out to be a really helpful approach.

@freemo

Excuse my language but

Why the FUCK can't I have a job like that

Also what exactly was the problem being solved here? The curves and lines are telling me something involving reflectors (maybe an analog for Fiber?)
I can't get a handle on the math though

Lol actually i was trying to create one large multiplexer by combining several smaller multiplexers

@freemo

Oh wow I am way off, but now the math is starting to make sense

@IAmAWarCrime the shape of the lines isnt important, only which dots they connect (which you often cant see as my goal was to connect all the dots.

In short, i had a column of dots, several rows and columns, and following certain rules i had to connect pairs of dots so that those rules were satisfied. If i could do that I had found a solution.
