QOTO is in fact one of, if not the, largest STEM oriented server in the fediverse. I might suggest you consider adding us to the list? Or if not I'd be curious to know why.

Science is a process, not a person or an idea. To say something is "scientific" is to say "we followed certain procedures to formulate this idea or assertion".
So the analogy of a tough guy would not be that tough guys say they are tough, but rather if tough guys talk about going to the gym or lifting... and yes, tough guys usually never shut up about lifting, crossfit, or the gym.
