I've loved, I've laughed and cried, I've had my fill, my share of loosing. And now, as tears subside I find it all so amusing. To think I did all that, and may I say, not in a shy way.

For what is a man, what has he got, if not himself, then he has naught. To say the things he truly feels, and not the words of one who kneels.

-- Frank Sinatra, My Way

Yup!
My Way is one of his best work, that is not a love song! 😊

Though I was not born in that generation or anywhere close, I always try to discover music from the 50s to 80s, and I often find music that makes me tear up!

Some examples:
Louis Armstrong's We Have All The Time In The World,
The Beatles' Yesterday and Here Comes The Sun,
Queen's Who Wants To Live Forever,
AndrΓ© Popp's L'amour Est Blue,
U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For,
Pink Floyd's Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Wish You Were Here,
Righteous Brothers' Lost That Loving Feeling,
Elton's Yellow Brick Road,
Neil Young's Heart Of Gold,
The Police's Every Breath You Take.

Not all of them have a deep philosophical meaning, some of them are love songs! 😊

Sorry for the long list! :P

All good choices. And while the older music and genres arent my main choice I will still appreciate the greats :)
