@freemo in my admittedly European view he is guilty of civil insurrection by walking into a civil war like riot heavily armed. it would be different if he had holed up inside a relative's store or something and killed looters entering.

@whiteline In europe simply being outside with a AR-15 strapped to you is the same as threatening people's lives no matter what you do. Obviously i disagree that should be the case, but it is.
In my view the guy was going there to provide medical assistance (which he did multiple times) and to protect people and property from loss of life.
Someone got mad because they couldnt destroy a building without potentially getting shot, and everything was downhill from there.
@freemo yeah, the US has a very different view of private versus governmental use of force than the European countries
