I effectively left Facebook earlier this year (I retain an account for some work stuff) and life is a lot better as a result.

I have been thinking about starting an account on a FB alternative to give friends and family somewhere to migrate to. I know it’s unlikely many will change but I want to model the behaviour I want to see.

So, which platform is best? … #friendica or #diaspora or other

@alpinefolk friendica is broken in terms of federation. I dont know much about diaspora. I'd suggest either pleorma or mastodon.
