HOUSTON, May 26 (Reuters) - America's biggest gun lobby, the #NationalRifleAssociation, pressed ahead with preparations for its annual gathering starting on Friday in #Houston, just 280 miles (450 km) from the scene of the country's worst school shooting in a decade.

A page on the #NRA's website dedicated to the gathering is dominated by a message offering its "deepest sympathies" to the victims of Tuesday's #schoolshooting. The rest of the page promotes the annual meeting, where #Republicans including former President Donald Trump are scheduled to speak.

There is a reason that almost without any exceptions every single time a country around the world banned guns there was a **huge** spike in homicide and violence in the decade that follows it and in the end it usually never recovers back down below pre-ban levels..

Yea the numbers speak for themsleves and yes, it shows the world is often wrong.. .A million idiots dont make a right.
