Every time I see 20+ users sign up in a matter of a few minutes I instantly think "What dumbass shit did Musk do now..."
@freemo he unblocked Babylon Bee and Jordan Peterson
@ericplais Ahh is that what it was.. lol
@realcaseyrollins To be fair musk has done some legitimately stupid shit... allowing babalon bee on the platform is the least of my concerns.
@realcaseyrollins I dunno, I'd say the servers breaking and being unusuable might be a good enough reason in its own right, especially when he gives every indication there is more of that to come.

This hasn’t happened yet, that we know of. The closest to this has been the disabling of the daemon that handles #2FA, which has since been re-enabled.
@realcaseyrollins @freemo i mean, he's fired 90% of the staff. major departments are just unstaffed. the android app team is gone, and speaking as an Android user... it's getting buggy lol any viral tweet says "this tweet is unavailable" on first click thru, the 'relevant context' blurb disappears sometimes (great for dealing with misinformation, i'm sure...) and that's just what i've noticed while barely being on there anymore.
@realcaseyrollins
@freemo and best of luck if ur trying to get an archive of your data, that shit is either extreeeeemely delayed or it's just not being done anymore. (which iirc is an issue of GDPR compliance that they can be fined for? which is the last thing they need...)
@realcaseyrollins Actually it has, in fact the latest surge started almost exactly when twitter outtages started (see attached graphs.
This also isnt the first time this happened since musk took over, itt has been constant... First he ttook down microservices without understanding it and all 2FA broke so people couldnt login at all.. Their infra engineers were also sacked and this caused the site to slow to a crawl in some areas.
Fair, but nothing he’s done so far has been so bad that it warrants people fleeing the platform
