We have had 3 more instances sign up to the United Federation of Instances in the last 24 hours or so.
Still around 200K members but I really am getting excited at all this momentum.
Setup a cool little verified link system too where members of the UFoI can add a verified link to their profile.
If you are an instance admin and want to join, whether your instance is 1 user or 100000, just let me know, as long as you follow our code of ethics I can add you and you will show as a founding member on the website once we launch.
I'm thinking that the instances that regroup will sooner or later start to share best practices, blocklists etc.

Maybe later, if someone is banned from an instance of ufoi, he cannot acces any other instance of ufoi ?

In any democratic system it is always possible it can devolve into something bad. Two points though..
1) we have some provisions in the bylaws that prevent this as we explicitly state this scenario as being discouraged so might help guide people
2) there is no concept of block lists in the UFoI. The UFoI only as the idea of allow-lists, instances you must federate with.
3) any block lists that do evolve are outside the core UFoI but regulated by "Coalitions"... the rules of such garuntee any block lists must be constructed using the same due process and evidence garthering as the allow-list that is core to the UFoI
4) should it start heading in that direction instances can leave at any time with no questions asked, so hopefully it will be a stop gap measure
5) People are already doing what you describe outside of the UFoI, in fact to counteract what you describe is the whole reason the UFoI was created in the first place and at least has measures specifically in place to consider this.
