I'm such a nerd.. A dutch friend of mine remarked "One reason the Dutch are so good at english is when you go to the movies we dont have voice overs, we use closed captioning instead"...

I replied "no you don't", and he protested before i pointed out it is literally impossible for a movie theater to show closed captioning because by definition closed captioning implies the viewer has the control to turn it off and on, which you cant do at a theater. He was referring to open captioning :)

@freemo Icon theater chain in the US has closed captions. If you want to see the captions you use a device that feeds them to your phone (via BT?). Other members of the audience cannot see your screen. Probably other chains do as well.
