@freemo I love how after the police misuse their power and are overly aggressive the knee-jerk reaction is to defund them and simultaneously expect the officers to operate at a higher standard 😂

@realcaseyrollins Oh the defund shit was hilarious... As you know i was very much "cops are pieces of shit", and we even disagreed strongly on the floyd case.... but that said we both agree the defund the police shit was the dumbest response possible to that.

Fixing the police would mean better training, fixing some legislations, doing all sorts of things, and those things cost money. If there is **one** thing the liberals should know its that trying to fix shit costs money, actually fixing it (if even possible) costs a lot.

@freemo I wonder why they wanted to defund the police. Maybe they knew that without bad cops, their activism would have less demand?

Disbanding cop unions would have worked if public opinion hadn't turned so sharply against law enforcement that nobody wants to be a cop anymore

@realcaseyrollins

I think its a deadend to try to understand the logic of anyone on the political extremes.. the truth is they wanted to do it because some edgy person with a voice said it, it sounded cool and unique, so everyone parroted it. Actually thinking critically and debating nuance is not something they do (they being the extreme left and right).

@freemo Fair enough. The #BlackLivesMatter company seems to have just been a MASSIVE grift to make a small number of figures tons of money, I don't even know if the company still exists lol

@kirby

It is called Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation... nothing wrong with a movement being represented by a centralized entitty. But that means we get to judge them based on central principles too.
