I am refering to the flagship calkey server... though I'd expect, since it is run by the same people, the developer community around it is probably equally as toxic.

How so? They are even on at least one LGBTQ run block list I know of due to some of the things they have done to hurt that community.

This is true. But when you are an instance run by a very fervent LGBTQ member and make that a focus, and yet still get blocked by your own community, well its a red flag to say the least.
