Nah thats not even remotely in line with the truth. Their views dont line up with any of the GOP and there is little relationship.
They also follow the **original** meaning of libertarian (that is minimal government control).. you can like or dislike or put them anywhere on the spectrum you want... But saying they are similar tot he GOP, or not true libertarians is just absurd

Yes the big L is the name of the party, and the little l is the name of the principle that party espouses...
Libertarians are classically liberal... modern liberals do not remotely resemble the classical use of the term liberal, they just hijacked it as a way to manipulate people.. same reason they are now starting to lean more into terms like "Progressive" to make it sound like only they hold the monopoly on progress... its kinda a joke. Dont fall for it.
