“Housing for cars is super-cheap and housing for people is super-expensive. At some point, when the delta between the space for cars and the space for people becomes so, so large, then people begin to think about living in cars.” — @asymco latimes.com/california/story/2

I'd be willing to bet the price per square foot for a car is in fact much much higher than for people.

@asymco

@freemo @owasow not at all. Quite the opposite. Car housing is super cheap on a per unit basis. And it’s all subsidized.

@asymco @owasow

You disagreed with me but then countered with something unrelated (no biggie just confused).

I said its more expensive if you actually calculate per square foot... what does that have to do with the per unit price?
