@darth this comparison never made sense to me. Who cares when water freezes, unless your dealing specifically with water that seems like a horrible way to measure temperature for a human. As for the date scale.. the us males the most sense as it starts with the least number of cardinaly (month 12) and progresses in increasing cardinality.

the better argument for metric honestly is order of 10 prefixes, thats really the only solid argument for the metric system as superior, and its a damn good one.

I will just keep using "kilomile" and "centinch" and get the best of both wolds :)
