@michaelk@mas.to The danger it poses for a human (prion diseases) are the same it poses for a dog. I'd be concerned with how it might be used.
Depending on the disease, yes, slower than viruses and the sorts of stuff we are familiar with. But it depends on the exposure of course and the specific form of the disease.

@freemo @michaelk aren't prion diseases typically pretty slow? There may be an expectation that dogs needing pacemakers aren't expected to live long enough for diseases to be an issue simply because of canine lifespans.
