@freemo I've used #CarbManager for the last few years, it's served me well. Not sure that it's exactly what you're looking for, though it's usually comparable to chronometer pro, I think.
@swrogers as long as it covers micros id be down for checking it out. That alone is hard to find. Does it handle micros ?
@swrogers I just checked, didnt sign up yet. But under their feature list they say they track macros but no mention of micros. Do they track micros? Seems no.
@swrogers Oh thanks, ill take a deeper dive and see how it feels.
By the way cronometer has really good keto support and adds some very nice calculations on how many carbs you can eat that you can customize to any of the usual ways of calculating, and quite a few custom ways.
I myself have it fixed where i get a certain minimum carbs and then depending on how active i was (measured objectively from my garmin watch) will determine how many bonus carbs i can have that day (heavy cardio days allows for more carbs). Youc an also customize how the protein calculation is effected by this in various ways.
@swrogers ive used cronometer and myfitnesspal... dont like MFP but ti is very popular. It didnt do micros in a way i liked and had other issues i didnt like... CM wasnice.
For what CM does it does it well and I'm happy. I'm only looking at alternatives to see what im missing, like this photo feature. I also would like better reporting or the ability to share progress.
@freemo I've heard good things about cronometer. Back when I started the three that were always suggested was that, car manager and MyFitnessPal. We just went with CM.
I've gone from 333+ to a low of 168, been maintaining at around 185 for a couple of years now. Still log most everything. All this with no exercise. Maybe one day I'll start something. 😃
