Tucker Carlson doesn't agree with the use of Atomic bombs to end WWII.

Do you agree with Tucker's take?

@watchtenetnow This is the babyish cowardice that has Americans in the #USA afraid to tell #Israel to do what they can to swiftly destroy #Hamas.

Americans are, largely, wimps who are afraid of war, despite secretly supporting or cheering for their inception.

The greatest crime a state can commit in the eyes of the west is to win a war or military conflict.

Yea we are such wimps for not supporting mass genocide and the theft of another groupa land.

Man even the biggest supporters of israel in my friends group have stopped supporting israel now.

@watchtenetnow

@freemo @realcaseyrollins @watchtenetnow Oh no I’m not talking about supporting a genocide, although you doubtless agree 😜

Just saying, the #IDF could probably very easily have obliterated #Hamas by now while committing half of the human rights/ #GenevaConventions/international law violations that they have, if it was not for the loathing that the West holds for the cost of winning a war. Killing Palestinians is all fine and dandy if it happens slowly over a long period of time rather than all at once.

Not to say that this is all bad; part of this is due to the West’s appreciation of rights and human rights; it’s not like we should have told #Israel to “level the place” like #LindseyGraham did. But there’s a way to tell a country to defeat its enemies who haven’t just attacked them, but declared war on them without doing all that. Instead, we focus on ceasefires, as if giving #Hamas a breather will get them to stop killing Jews.

@realcaseyrollins I mean, yea israel could have done it with far less casualties. But instead they decided to kill them off quickly without regard for the massive casualties.

Not sure how that is "holding back" though or anything like that, quite the opposite.

@realcaseyrollins

Also important to point out the goal here of Israel is not to kill off palestinians it is to take their land, which effectively kills them off, but that is secondary.

Killing them off slowly was always the goal because it gets them the land with minimal public backlash.

@freemo @freemo
Big if true.

A lot of people hate Jews and/or #Israel, so I am not surprised that they chose the more popular "slow war" tactic, even if that means more suffering in the long run. The best way to not make the West mad is, like I said, have a war that lasts forever and never win it.

BTW, I suspect that behind the scenes a lot of this is rooted in the military industrial complex, as forever wars are extremely good for our military contracting companies.

@realcaseyrollins

Personally I dont think **anyone** is acting in good faith at this point. Israel are just commiting slow genocide, palestine will commit genocide back if they could, they just cant.. and the west generally doesnt care if some middle eastern dark skinned people kill each other off at all but will be offended by it the whole time anyway.
