Right, which is just a lot of words to say it is a very very rare event. Just like being struck by lightening which happens to people every day but only because there are 8 billion of them.
The reason and ts almost at zero end n the USA and at 0 in other countries is because America is riddled with massive mental health problems. It has nothing to do with guns.
That's why when you see in other countries they ban or restrict guns in almost every case homicide and violent crime rates skyrocket for decades (and rarely fully recover), because the issue was never the guns, violence is the issue and there is more of it in the USA than many places.
Usual response I expect to an actual published data scientist. My arguments stand up to peer review every day, I'm good
@anubis2814 Not only bad and unethical but totally wrong.
In countries where not everyone walks in the streets carrying guns, violent crimes are MUCH LESS frequent than in the USA. And when they happen
- almost 100% of it involve guns
- it's often committed by racist cops/hate groups… pretty much everytime it's not committed by OTHER violent gangs. The biggest of which are far-right voting cops anyway…
There is no "normal, everyday, mass shooting", those are exceptions…
