I usually don't register for anything - but I can understand / guess some use of it's mechanism...
If you like can you explain your considerations for a registration:
- perhaps restricting the numbers of people being maybe the obvious one
- other considerations?
- list here....

I think relativity in participation appeals more now until I happen to find the connection otherwise it's mostly so-so and still have t o contact some od the FOSDEM speakers for audio chats (loose friendly interviews)

@freeschool Yes, it is mainly about limiting the number of participants in our BigBlueButton instance. Since there will be talks and later a gaming part, we don't want to face any tech issues.
