Which platforms you click and don't click are as important as a vote for free software...

The rest is more reasoning but the above should be enough....

What good is Free Software when clicking their sites more or recommending it on Social network too 1000's of people?
Not good.
MEASURABLY not good.

Exposes people too with all the analytics.

By not clicking you are also keeping in line who you really support... so there is 2 things mainly:

1. Free Software etc ok
2. minimising the other stuff

Linking and Click-baiting others is supporting THEM more than what needs your support.

EVER WONDER WHY THERE ARE LESS ON PEERTUBE ETC- IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT THERE!

Click-baiting and hooking friends is not great.

As if you and friends don't already have enough or too much in life we go and lose time there instead of the freedom supporting stuff.

It is a mini-war like any other.

Being click-baited on #Mastodon is just another thing to sort out.

make their links plain text the same your own politics to develop great software. Let people copy and paste as a double-check and ask why hyperlinks are not supported to those sites...

Move your life on, more is often needed anyway as far as this addiction goes (even for learning etc it's still all-you-can-eat)...

Let them go or be dragged down by the Goliath$ who get big money and mispend it.

Not clicking is also voting...

Make the right choice.
