Older browsers / complexity in the new... MISSKEY for loading comments...

@al1r4d
MISSKEY also not viewable by older browsers I believe...
The clever implements mean older browsers at least need settings changed or something

EXAMPLE PROFILE + Screenshot
shows what it loads (top) and what it doesn't load (comments using MISSKEY)

So comments not loading / not seen by older browsers = error and user probably quits thinking it's server error as other profiles in Mastodon are usually native / working 100%

So users looking at these profiles / instances just quit out (I did at first after contacting instance owner etc). Many others would / would assume it's a server-side error as it partially loads top and wouldn't seem 'normal' to have such advance scripting or loading method only for comments. But I get it might have other benefits but really for comments I'd say universal access and less 2nd citizen feelings from constantly better tech from quite simple things like comments...

It is interesting that it seems now it's about keeping simplicity after reaching a level of enough complexity / advancement (maybe it's all the same and advancement IS about universality while going forward and not leaving many behind or those even a few years back!)
