Advice about how to use Mastodon when adding so many great people ?

Feels like if 2/3 people could stick to each other 'until the end' then at least they could crack those hard nuts... but everyone following everyone yes is good but might even prolong actually being intimate about problems and seeing where inter-politics are rather than more heavy on general conversations with many,

I guess I could delete many of the people I follow... and stick to a few?... maybe then move on like a portable chicken coop?
