Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

"Russia" as a word for me is maybe just another "America". The word is the basic existence of a large entity wanting to taking over.

Just the word "Russia" is what I mean mostly which can be interchangeable with almost any large entity (or 'power' in the world).

For example, if I hear Russia is invading America then it could be heard by me as:

- America is invading America
Or
- Russia is invading Russia

Not much difference and I almost wouldn't be surprised if Russia's mask was taken off like in a movie and it was America* all along.

Or vice versa.

Same-ish with same-ish people do I nd war on same-ish people.

* America could be any of the colony powers I guess

Land Ownership... Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

Land Ownership (part of a previous thread and context)

The real losers and losses come from war... and land ownership might feel justified to defend ( strike another person in today's meaning ) until you look at how you or your country " got " the land.

In modern form today it seems mostly questionable about land ownership depending on which point in time you go back to (!) So just because they agreed recently to do keep to their "land(s)" and do economic warfare more than direct geographic physical war... that still doesn't get rid of recent bombing of the wholld earth for many countries if not all
...just yesterday (ish).

So how it was occupied / owned (manipulation, threats, finsncial deals, bombing others into submission to be yours) to become your countries current flag is highly questionable.
So one can't be too proud or assume about country ownership as solid. It could just be another conquest probably much the same as Russia's move for "Ukraine".

(So to make shorter the concept of ownership is flag on flag changes, changes of colour, stripes and whatever else based on the "coat of arms" more often, an army basically)

Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

@freeschool misguided take , the only folks that benefit from this thinking is in fact the Russian regime that is trying to normalize it's brand of nazi-ism while commiting genocide

Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

@tonic Sounds very easy in the reply or I might have it wrong.

So just for clarity or friendly contrast;

● many other super powers or economic regimes are not the same and have not done similar?
● nazism or fascism is also possible in other ways including economic right?

Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

@freeschool « national socialism » is the economic theory behind nazism . Sounds like you’re trying to twist into the right shape to square a circle . Trying to sound cynical but really it’s just being naive 😅

Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

@tonic A bit better in clarity but faaar too short and then too fast to judge as much of your replies..
Not the best equation for understanding. But still, appreciate the comeback.

Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

@freeschool i appreciate your appreciation , but I will point out « super powers all behave this way » is a verbatim Russian regime argument, btw it’s completely wrong and mostly used to justify the Ukrainian genocide

Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

@freeschool sure if you define your own terms and words can mean anything, then nothing means anything and you can make a false equivalence between moscow with 20% of the inhabitants with no running water and openly nazi politics with washington DC currently (feebly?) confronting the disaster which is russia . but that doesnt make it so, and really folks should know better than to be so naive as believe russia (when it says it) is a peer adversary to europe, america or any country in the "west"

Russia just another America? (Or vice versa?)

@freeschool or that "super powers all behave in this way" or that they are "the same" , or "not so bad", or it's not genocide it's just russia genociding russia, and so on and so forth. it's not cynical it's simply repeating what the russian police state wants you to believe , and in fact you're using their tactics which only promote complacency in the face of fascism
